When contacting Pony Tails Kennel, make sure to contact with the specific puppy you are interested in. If you are looking for more general information, please be as specific as possible. ie. “Breed, Mother’s Name, Puppy Number.” or ie. “I am looking for more information on your next Dachshund litter.”

Do not start a new email more than once within three days. If you have not received an answer within 72 hours, you may contact again. This prevents duplicate inquires from being overlooked. Duplicate inquiries may often be sent automatically sent to spam before we have viewed them. 

Failure to follow any of the above requirements will result in lack of response and us being unable to provide you a puppy.

PLEASE NOTE: We are family owned and operated, which means you will not get the immediate response as seen within a large corporations. The website is updated on a separate basis from our communication. We may not respond within a 48 hour period, and can take up to 3 days (72 hours) to answer back. This is due to the amount of time spend with our dogs, family, and other pets. We do not keep a cell phone or laptop on us at all times, meaning you will not receive an immediate response. We check our email twice a day, but there are MANY inquiries to get through. Please do not contact if you are impatient and not willing to wait for proper communication.

We reserve the right to cease contact and/or communication at any time, with no provided reason or closing email, if we feel the family, individual, or situation, will not be the right fit for the puppy in discussion. 

Our website is updated on a separate basis than emails are answered. Please note that one form of communication might not be the most up to date. If you have not placed a deposit, you have not reserved the puppy by any means. We do our best to answer in a timely and professional manner. 

**We operate by appointment only. 
We do not have operating hours, and we do not visitation appointments, as outlined in the coronavirus pandemic.

When making an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation, you do not have an accurate appointment. Please do not travel to our kennel without an appointment.
