Due to the nature of the coronavirus pandemic, we will be screening inquiries and changing the human to puppy interaction in order to protect those in our family. We currently offer two reservation styles to reserve a puppy.

• Puppies are not eligible to be seen until they are eight weeks old. Once puppies are eight weeks old, we offer limited visitation appointments. These appointments require a $50 non-refundable deposit to book. The deposit applies towards the total purchase price of the puppy, if purchased same day.  The appointment allows you to meet 2-4 puppies of your choice to determine which puppy’s personality best fits the needs of your family. The deposit does not reserve a specific puppy. 
• Before they are eight weeks old, we offer reservation via website photos. You may select a specific puppy via photos, and reserve the puppy. We require a $200 non-refundable deposit, which applies towards the total purchase cost of the puppy. Once the puppy is eight weeks old, we set up a pick-up appointment for you. This deposit reserves one specific puppy of your choice. You may also use this deposit to reserve a puppy over eight weeks old, if their is a specific puppy of interest. 

Also due to the coronavirus pandemic, Pony Tails Kennel has seen an incredible increase in inquiries. We are considered a small business, being individually run by a single mom, and answer our emails as quickly as we can. We answer from oldest to newest, and are only able to do a small amount at a time. We appreciate your inquires, but providing for our puppies will always be our number one inquiry. Please be patient in awaiting for our response. We operate on a 72 hour response time. Please allow at least 3 days to pass before sending a new email. Sending a new email prior may delay your response. We do not keep a phone or computer on us at all times, and check in 2-3 times a day for limited periods. We spend most of our time with our puppies, giving them care and play time. 

At any time, due to the high-risk nature of the virus, we can refuse the right to sell you a puppy. The conditions on which we allow appointments may change at anytime, as the coronavirus virus continues to develop and be understood.

We understand that every family has different needs, and some families do not want to place a deposit site unseen. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to offer early visitation appointments and early meetings. We always recommend finding the breeder that best suits your needs, so you will be happy with your puppy.

Upon the eight week mark, you will have the appointment to pick out or pick up your puppy. Each family may only bring two individuals into our facility, and both individuals must wear a mask or face covering. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status. We are not able to provide masks for you. During the appointment, we will only allow you to see the puppy (or puppies) discussed. We do not offer parent visitation appointments at this time, due to the high transmission of the virus.

At Pony Tails Kennel, we understand how big of a decision it is to bring a new family member into your home, but we also need to protect the safety and welfare of our individuals. We appreciate your understanding in our new policies.
